Limit the use of fanciful pictures, make your email look professional, unless you have a special style you portray in your website, keep it professional.

Creating a sense of urgency will make the reader make a decision. You can instill the sense of urgency in readers by using words like “for the first 50 customers, Limited time, early bird discount” in the email to make readers feel the need to take action soon.
- Entice them
To further entice them to open the email or action, offer them benefits to action. You can combine urgency and the benefits in the subject line.
- Don’t overdo it
In your text, avoid using too many bold, capital letters, bright colors, and punctuation (referring to ! ). For the simplest reason, it makes your text very confusing and distracting. It also triggers spiders and filter to classify it as SPAM.
- Simple and Sweet
Different purpose of email requires you to use different strategy in your emails. But as a general rule, keep your email simple and sweet. Nobody likes to read a long and wordy email.
